How to navigate the Playing Field of Life as a Caves, Markets, Kitchens, Mountains, Valleys or Shores Person this month.
Time to unlock some inner secrets.
We move into Scorpio Season with a spotlight turned inward.
Beautiful Venus has been retrograding, and the heart of her lesson is sparkling as Scorpio Season opens.
She reaches cazimi.
The middle. The halfway mark. The turning point.
Time travel back to October and November 2018: what were you doing? Venus was moving through a similar retrograde then. You may enjoy returning to that season of your life to review the terms and conditions you were living with.
Where were you working?
Who were you in relationship with?
What was going on in your wider life?
This inner magnifying glass you’re holding may reveal some interesting information now that you’re wiser and more developed.
Mercury retrogrades on Oct 24, the Moon grows full shortly after, creating the landscape for an inner tension to be brought to light.
We’re entering an atmosphere where things we thought were settled may require some reopening.
You see things you couldn’t see before.
New details reveal themselves to new eyes, perhaps changing the way things feel inside. Something you understood one way may feel very different when you return to it from where you are now.
May you look.
At first, you may feel protective of a former choice that actually no longer feels good to live inside. It’s important to admit that and get it out of you. Great awareness! You can do something about it when you don’t feel good inside.
If your surroundings are still be organized around that former choice, it could make it harder (or trickier) to disentangle — but not impossible. Go slow, be patient with yourself, and keep your eyes open.
Notice what you have already made room for unconsciously.
SEE what is still waiting for a place in your life.

Can you let your life reflect how much you’ve grown?
Remember that time in your life when you grew a whole head taller? You literally started to see the world differently… even though you were the same lil’ guy inside. Where have you really grown over the past eight years? If you time travel back to the end of the 2010s, what was going on in your life?
If we put all those same circumstances around this version of you, how would you navigate the terrain this time?
Perhaps you’d recognize something sooner. Ask a different question. Be more particular about who you let inside.
You’re not the same person you were then… even though you are.
It’s important you continue to choose yourself deep down inside. And you can be tender with the person who made those earlier choices.
There were things you hadn’t experienced yet. Skills you were still developing. Information you simply didn’t have.
And now, years later, you have so much more to draw from.
Having your own back may begin with admitting that something feels different this time. You’re allowed to take that information seriously, even while you’re figuring out what to do with it. As you apply your skills to new terms and conditions, you just might discover what an incredible asset you’ve been cultivating inside yourself.
In this new world, that asset may hold a different value.
When the world shakes, maybe you feel it deeply. But your Cave holds you while you hold your footing. You have an inner rock — the part of you learning to trust what you notice and respond with care. Unshakeable. Part of the Earth itself.

What’s really worth it now?
What's going on in your field right now? There is something you acquired during an earlier season of life (think back to what you were doing in 2018), and something about that acquisition can deeply inform you now.
Whether you're feeling high or low about something, consider how you felt about similar things circa 2018. What were you moving through during that season of life? What did you consider valuable then? What were you willing to exchange to get what you wanted?
Whatever deals you made with yourself around that time, consider whether you're still honouring those agreements somewhere inside, today.
Some of those contracts, inner promises, deals, or decisions may have expired.
Something that was incredibly valuable to you eight years ago may not hold the same value today. And that doesn't mean it was a bad investment. It just means the terms and conditions of the Playing Field have changed.
Everything in life has a life expectancy. Everything has an expiry. Even your contracts with yourself.
If a choice or decision you made during an earlier season no longer feels good for where you are now, it's important to admit that rather than continue holding something simply because it was once valuable.
You have acquired SO MUCH since then!
New experiences. New information. New relationships. A different understanding of what something is worth. If it's time to explore a new emerging field more fully, you're supported in that exploration now. Just make sure you're doing the self-inquiry into what holds value now — for this version of you.
Something that was once worth a lot may just not be worth it anymore, or not worth the same thing is used to be.

You don't have to keep making the same thing just because you've gotten good at it.
What were you making with your life back in 2018? What were you working on or through, experimenting with, trying to get right?
Maybe you were building a career, growing a relationship, raising a family, developing a skill, or learning how to make something work with the resources you had available.
And maybe it worked! Maybe you became really good at it.
But here's something to consider: Are you still following a recipe you created for a version of your life that no longer exists?
Kitchens People understand that everything has its own chemistry. You can take two perfectly wonderful ingredients, put them together, and discover they don't actually work very well together. How annoying! Other times, something unexpected comes along and changes the entire dish.
And sometimes, the thing you've been making for years just doesn't taste the same anymore. Sometimes you want different things.
Scorpio Season may reveal where you've been trying to make something work through sheer familiarity. Adding a little more of this, taking away a little of that, hoping you can restore something to what it used to be.
But what if you're not supposed to recreate it? What if you're hungry for something you haven't made before?
You don't have to throw away everything you've built to begin experimenting with something new. There may be ingredients from your past that become incredibly useful in an entirely different creation.
You have more to work with now than you did eight years ago.
So, what are you hungry to make with it?
EnviroscopeMountains
You can see things from here that you couldn't see from there.
Since 2018, you’ve covered a lot of ground.
Maybe you climbed your way out of something difficult. Maybe you reached a summit you'd been working toward for years. Maybe life took you on an unexpected descent, detour, or climb. Maybe you found yourself exploring territory you never imagined you'd visit.
From one elevation, something can look enormous. From another, you can see how it fits into a much larger landscape. And sometimes, the thing you thought was a mountain turns out to be a relatively small hill in the wider landscape!
You don't have to keep seeing something the way you saw it eight years ago. In fact, understanding how you saw things then may reveal something important about how you're seeing things NOW.
You’re an explorer. An adventurer. A seer. A metaphorical hiker. So what have you seen on your journey so far, and what are you looking at right now?
Perhaps you've been observing something from a distance, studying the terrain, waiting until you have a complete view before deciding where to go next, what to feel next, or who to go with next. There is value in having perspective. But remember, even the clearest view from afar cannot tell you everything about what it's like to actually walk through a place — and walking through a place can be so delightful and meaningful.
It’s OK to go on the journey. In fact, a great adventure or worthwhile retreat is the precise activity required to discover what else it out there. The journey can be a spiritual one; it’s not necessarily always a physical one.
Don’t forget to pack your essentials!
EnviroscopeValleys
Just because the information keeps coming doesn't mean you have to keep receiving it.
Imagine two mountains with a valley running between them. Everything that flows down from those mountains finds its way into the valley, where it can gather, mingle, and travel onward into entirely new terrain. Eventually, that information may find its way to a new Shore. But first, it needs a channel to carry it there.
Valleys are extraordinary channels of information.
Think about everything that has passed through your life over the past eight years. The people you've encountered. The conversations you've participated in. The things you've heard, witnessed, learned, and passed along.
Some of that information changed you. Some of it changed the people around you. And some of it may still be moving through you today.
A great experiment to play with this month is to pay attention to when something “sounds the same as it always has” — does that feel comforting or irritating? Are you fed up or at peace when that story misses the deeper point yet again? Are you set at ease to hear the same comforting words from your loved one?
This month, there may be things you’re taking in that are no longer relevant to you. Maybe they mattered for an earlier version, but there has been so much more you’ve felt now, that the terms and conditions of the Playing Field around you have changed. Sometimes, an old connection can reveal something entirely new now that you have eight more years of experience to understand it.
Things may sound different to you now, even if the words, messages or signals were once familiar. You’re not the same person. You’ve been shaped into an entirely new creature, and acoustics will flow through you with a different sound and feel.
With all the flow down the two mountains, there has been erosion, smoothing, widening and deepening to the valley. And reading the markings in the landscape can tell you a lot about what it has carried through its passage.
EnviroscopeShores
You can absolutely enter another world without getting swept away by it.
Ready to go for a swim, sailor? Something you’ve been feeling your way toward may finally be ready for expression. If there’s something that would feel so good to surrender to or sink into — just imagine how it would feel to live into that energy.
When you're trying to understand something about yourself, it can be immensely helpful to look into the world of another. What do you see when you look into the water's reflection? Do you see yourself, or someone else? Who is staring back at you, and what is revealed as you gaze upon another you?
This is a transformative Water Season that begins with still waters.
The tide will move and the flow will increase, but you're so comfortable taking a dip that you're often slightly ahead of the current. That’s how you ride it.
Whether you're an emotional person or not, reality around you moves in waves. Riding those waves and finding the edges that propel you forward into new territory are a big part of your experience.
But getting caught in the wave, emotion, or mess of another can draw you into a whirlpool of chaos that feels like the never-ending alchemy of the Kitchen — your other Environment. Diving and drowning are not the same thing, and you are a spiritual swimmer.
Remember, you're not exactly responsible for altering or influencing the waves of the world. You're simply noticing them, pointing them out, and discovering how to navigate them in your own way. Sometimes, that can make it’s own wave.
But you don't have to get caught in someone else's current to understand where it's taking them.
Perhaps you've learned when to dive in, when to float, and when to get yourself out of the water altogether. Whether you're practicing the front crawl, breaststroke, or the good ol' doggy paddle, you have more techniques available to you now than you did eight years ago. How can you have fun with that?
