2026 Leo Season

How to navigate the Playing Field of Life as a Caves, Markets, Kitchens, Mountains, Valleys or Shores Person this month.

Now that the landscape is changing, how do you know where to go?

This month, don't be surprised if the question you're holding inside keeps changing.

You can expect to experience a month of movement instead of a month of stability.

There is an unusual concentration of astrological turning points this Leo Season. While your personal identity is being revised and recalibrated, the larger architecture of our collective future is also reorganizing itself. You will experience your own metamorphosis as the world around you changes.

What used to mean one thing — may suddenly mean something different.

Just days into Leo Season, Mercury stations direct, inviting you to reconsider what actually makes sense for the life you're living now… not the one you lived a year ago.

Definitely not five years ago.

Ten years ago? Don't know her.

The defining backdrop of this season is the Nodes changing signs... If your North Node is in Aquarius, you’re entering your Nodal Return. This also marks a larger collective shift in direction.

This is an era of increasing awareness and perception.

When Saturn retrogrades along with the beginning of this direction shift, your heart may be anchored into examining which structures in your life deserve some serious reconsideration. Notice where life is asking for stronger foundations — NOT stronger control.

And a beautiful Jupiter in Leo Cazimi, a major moment of alignment, invites you to consider where you deserve some wholehearted expansion.

Fuck your ego; where can your heart GROW a little bigger?

What are you now able to hold that you weren’t big enough to hold before?

This month’s Full Moon in Aquarius, tinged with the first energy of the Nodal shift to Aquarius, is a major moment of illumination where you may find yourself deeply wondering where you belong in this strange world.

Chiron, the wounded healer, will also retrograde this month, pulling you within for a cross-examination of the old wounds that are still shaping the way you live and exist in the world. With so much emphasis on awareness this month, there is a major opportunity for deeper self-awareness that is enriching and rewarding… albeit a little unstable.

The Leo month coalesces into a Solar Eclipse, an unpredictable event that will eclipse a former identity that has (finally) run its course and reached completion, leaving you raw, new, reborn and renewed.

How might your collective hold you tenderly through this moment?

Allow yourself to be seen before you try to be understood.

You have officially entered an important passage from clarity, through realignment, toward renewed identity.

Something I wrote to you in January of this year: In Feng Shui, we're moving into the Year of the Fire Horse: bold movement, courage, and momentum. FREEDOM is the game. There is also a LOT of Fire in the year, but ZERO Water.

If you've felt the pace quicken this year, remember — we're only halfway through the gallop. The Fire Horse doesn't simply ask us to move faster. It asks us to become BRAVE enough to move HONESTLY. This renewed version of you may run in a direction you never expected.

Caves

When what once felt familiar begins to change, how do you know where you belong?

This month may draw your attention to the people who have always made you feel safe. Someone may have stepped out of your inner circle. An existing relationship may have shifted.

Or perhaps you're the one who has changed.

Remember this:

People are your environment.

They shape the space around you just as much as the walls you live within.

It's one thing to have someone's back.

It's another for them to have yours.

As life changes, the way you protect one another may need to change too. You may also discover someone has quietly been holding space for you all along — and only now are you able to recognize it.

Or perhaps you've had to step back from someone you once thought would always remain close.

Neither realization is failure.

It's information.

So ask yourself:

Who feels safe now?

Who allows you to exhale?

Who makes you feel more like yourself after you've been with them?

Whatever arises this month, let it deepen your understanding of what true belonging feels like. Not everyone is meant to remain in your inner cave forever. Some people accompany us for a season.

Others become part of the foundation.

As old wounds surface, don't carry them alone if you don't have to. Sit with someone safe. Let yourself be witnessed. Healing doesn't always happen in isolation; sometimes it happens because another person remains present while you move through it. Sometimes you’re the one who remains present when another moves through something.

A new path is opening before you. You are not the same person you were. And the people who love you may also need time to meet THIS version of you.

Offer yourself — and them — that grace.

Some old wounds may return one final time before they quietly complete themselves.

Others may simply remind you how much you've already grown.

Trust yourself.

And keep making room for the people who help your nervous system remember:

You are already home.

Markets

What is ready to be gathered?

When the landscape around you begins to shift, it's natural to reach for something familiar.

Sometimes that looks like bringing home something beautiful. Sometimes it means surrounding yourself with the objects, colours, smells, books, or tools that remind you who you are.

There is wisdom in creating inner stability while everything else reorganizes.

If you've entered a new season of life, a new relationship, a new home, or even a new version of yourself, don't underestimate the comfort of your own environment.

Your favourite mug.

Your favourite chair.

The candle you always light.

The sweater you've worn for years.

The rituals the two of you used to do together.

The little things often become the bridges that carry us across enormous change.

So ask yourself:

What's truly important now?

Some structures no longer fit. Maybe they never did. Sometimes we need to walk through the same landscape several times before we recognize we've reached its edge. That’s how we map it and understand where we are. One side asks us to remain with what is familiar, even if it no longer nourishes us. The other asks us to step into uncertainty without knowing exactly what comes next.

That’s scary.

As your awareness grows this season, you may discover your direction has quietly changed.

Let it.

Imagine there isn't a single path waiting for you.

Imagine an open field — a grand market

Every choice you make leaves a subtle imprint on the ground. As you look back across your life, those footsteps become visible.

They become a trail.

A map. A work of art!

YOUR work of art.

Now ask yourself another question.

What season is it in your field? What is growing here? What is ready to be gathered? What knowledge is ripening? What relationships are becoming ready for exchange? What gifts have become valuable because you spent YEARS quietly cultivating them?

You know your field better than anyone else.

Walk it.

Read it.

Trust what it has been showing you all along.

Kitchens

What are you here to make with what's already in your hands?

Who steers this ship?

Who built the fucking boat?

Who sanded the floors?

Who carved those stars into the wood?

Who gathered, trained, birthed, welcomed, or stumbled into the crew now travelling beside you?

You did.

So…

Who's hungry? Who's ready to COOK?

As one of the greatest creators on the Playing Field, it doesn't matter who doesn't understand the vision yet. It doesn't matter who can't taste what you're making. It doesn't matter if the recipe changes halfway through.

Where are you right now?

Look around. Zoom out. Then zoom back in.

Study the ingredients already sitting on your counter.

You are at the heart of your own experience. Wherever life carries you, you will continue making something from what is available.

That's your gift.

You never stop making your magic. You couldn’t even if you tried.

Whether you call that part of yourself the mystic, the witch, the artist, the healer, the cook, or simply yourself, don't abandon them.

You may need to reinvent them.

You may need to outgrow them.

You may even need to grieve them.

But don't betray them.

Rest when you need to. Sleep when your body asks. Step away from the kitchen sometimes. Nothing beautiful is created by someone who never leaves the stove.

Then come back. Taste again. Adjust the seasoning. Trust your hands. Trust the years you've spent learning your craft. Sometimes the wisdom you're searching for isn't somewhere new. It's already been simmering quietly beneath the surface, waiting until you were ready to recognize its flavour.

Life may ask you to learn new tools. You will.

None of that erases what you've already conquered.

So keep creating.

Keep experimenting.

Keep feeding what is alive.

And never stop making your magic… you couldn’t even if you tried. It’s within you and a part of you.

Mountains

When the landscape changes, what remains solid beneath your feet?

You've already begun recognizing what hasn't been feeling good. That recognition is most of the work.

Invisible things can grip us. They can hold us in place — frozen, numb, frightened, disconnected from ourselves. But once you recognize the thread, you can stop feeding it.

As those invisible threads begin to loosen, the atmosphere around you begins to change. It's easier to let things fall away. Easier to feel your power returning, coiling through your limbs like inverted roots — coming out of you instead of wrapping around you from the outside.

How different it feels to become anchored to something inside yourself, rather than outside yourself.

Pause for a moment.

What is arriving on the breeze as you tip your nose into the atmosphere?

As you read the landscape around you, what opportunities have appeared since the beginning of the year?

Who has come into clearer focus?

Where do things feel beautiful?

…Where does the fog still linger?

That’s OK.

Notice what — or who — comes to mind. Read the questions again if you need to.

Something from your past may quietly reveal itself this month. A memory. A relationship. A pattern. A place that once held power over you.

But you are not the same person those experiences first met.

They shaped you.

They informed you.

They taught you.

They even influenced the path you took.

Now entertain the possibility that you have done nothing wrong.

Not one single step.

Imagine the idea of a "right path" or a "wrong path" disappearing completely.

How would you tell the story of your life then?

What would you notice about the choices you made, the landscapes you crossed, the people you met, and the version of yourself that emerged because of them?

You are made to experience joy.

Your power has never been somewhere else waiting for you to find it. It has always been growing beneath your feet. Inside your soul. In your heart.

You may choose to share that power with others.

Or you may simply stand quietly upon it.

Either way, the mountain remains.

And so do you.

You are the Mountain.

You are the Mountain.

You are the Mountain.

Valleys

What signal is asking to be heard now?

Changing outlets, adjusting frequencies, expressing yourself differently — or disconnecting from something altogether — you are perfectly in your process.

Sometimes your mutation is the medicine.

Change the station.

Change the outfit.

Change the frequency.

You are an expander.

An enhancer.

A conduit.

You hold a charge.

Your work isn't to manufacture more energy. It's to stop dimming the energy that's already there.

Before you can be understood, you must first allow yourself to be seen. Even if you think you've been putting yourself out there, ask yourself where a part of you is still hiding.

Where could you let a little more of your heart out?

When life became overwhelming, what did you turn down?

What did you silence?

Why?

Leo season doesn't ask you to become someone else. It asks you to remember what was already trying to come through before fear convinced you to lower the volume. Your energy will never be identical from one day to the next. You already know that. Some days you're broadcasting. Other days you're restoring the signal.

Respect both.

The songs you've written, the conversations you've had, the risks you've taken, the things you've already created — they haven't disappeared.

They're still transmitting.

This month, you’ll be returning to your OWN signal. What might that look like for you?

It may be exactly what your body has been waiting to hear.

Shores

Which threshold is yours to cross?

Leo season asks you to become more intentional about the thresholds you cross.

Shores is rarely about choosing one side forever. It is about recognizing that transformation often happens where worlds meet: the edge between private and public, familiar and unfamiliar, yesterday and tomorrow.

This season, those edges become especially active.

Leo encourages visibility, creativity, and wholehearted self-expression. Yet the astrology surrounding this season suggests that authentic expression isn't simply about being seen. It's about becoming more discerning about where you offer your energy and who has earned access to it.

Several major movements in the sky invite reflection before action. You may find yourself reassessing old roles, relationships, or assumptions about where you belong. Rather than rushing toward certainty, allow yourself to pause at the shoreline itself.

Allow yourself to grieve.

Not every invitation deserves a yes.

Not every initiation requires a response.

Not every door needs to be opened.

Not every version of yourself needs to continue the journey.

If life feels like it's quietly reorganizing, trust that instinct. Leo season shines light on what has been lingering beneath the surface. Conversations, creative projects, physical places, and long-standing commitments may suddenly reveal whether they still feel alive — or whether you've simply been carrying them out of habit.

For a Shores Person, this kind of discernment is essential.

Pay attention to the places that leave you feeling more energized after you leave them. Notice the cafés, parks, sidewalks, airports, waterfronts, entrances, or neighbourhoods where ideas seem to flow naturally. Just as importantly, notice the crossings that consistently leave you depleted. Your body often recognizes the quality of an environment before your mind can explain why.

This season also asks you to strengthen your boundaries. A shoreline isn't a wall; it's a living edge where exchange happens without losing your own footing. If you've been overextending yourself or constantly adapting to fit someone else's landscape, it may be time to return to your own.

As Leo season unfolds, let curiosity guide your next crossing. The changes that shape your future may not arrive through one dramatic leap, but through a series of small, intentional decisions that gradually alter your direction.

Your work this season is not to force momentum.

It is to recognize the threshold that genuinely calls to you — and step across it with confidence.
