Alex Cantone on Parenting in the New Paradigm: Child Development, Human Design, and Raising Conscious Families
What changes when you stop trying to raise the perfect child — and start supporting the parent instead?
Child development expert Alex Cantone joins me for a grounded conversation about parenting in a changing world. Together we explore Human Design, early childhood development, parental capacity, education, and why supporting the parent may be one of the greatest gifts we can give a child.
About this conversation
Alex Cantone is one of my favourite voices in child development. Before becoming a mother, she earned her Master's in Child Development and Special Education, taught in both public and private schools, and became widely known for helping parents understand Human Design in children.
Then, she stepped away.
Rather than continue teaching from theory alone, Alex chose to become a parent herself — allowing lived experience to reshape everything she thought she knew about raising children.
In this conversation, we explore what changed. From newborn life and parental exhaustion to education, Human Design, and designing environments where children can thrive, Alex offers an honest perspective on what conscious parenting looks like from the inside.
